NICHOLAS CARE'

Nicholas Care' is the CEO/Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Sydney, which is the largest Chamber of Commerce in the world.
Mr Caré has 25 years experience in international trade and liaison between Private, Public and Government enterprises and currently is a Committee Member of SBS Community Advisory Committee (CAC), Board Member of Assocamerestereo (worldwide Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce), where he represents, together with representatives of the Italian Government the CEO’s of 74 Chambers worldwide. He has been the President of the European Chambers in Australia, National CEO Representative for the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Asia Pacific and was conferred the title of Cavaliere (a Knighthood) in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in May 2006. Mr Caré is also an Engineer.

FEDERICA GUIDI
SALES & MEMBERSHIP

Federica Guidi arrived in Australia in 1998 and joined the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in May 2000. She has studied Marketing and Communications from Italy, and has a Business English diploma from Bond University in Queensland.
Duties and responsibilities:
- sourcing potential new members and extensive member liaison
- responsible for promoting and managing advertising sales of the Chamber’s quarterly publication Voi Tutti
- responsible for selling and coordinating the events, including Aperitivo Club, Business luncheon, seminars.
- enhancing business and public relations

SILVIA SELMO
EVENTS
& PUBLISHING SERVICES MANAGER

Silvia Selmo started at the Italian Chamber Of Commerce in May 2005. She has an Economic Degree from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.
Duties and responsibilities:
- managing and promoting visitor and exhibitor trade delegations to both Italian and Australian trade fairs
- managing the logistics and distribution of Voi Tutti
- managing the Voi Tutti subscriptions and database
- managing the events logistics

LUIGI MARIANI
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER / ITALY

Luigi Mariani joined the Chamber in March 2008. He has a Law Degree from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. He is a journalist, registered with the National Journalists Board since the 26th of September 2006.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan communication and media strategies in order to promote the Chamber and its services overseas
- Write articles and reports for selected newspapers and magazines and look after their editing; organise commercials and interviews for Italian television/radio
- Prepare and control the issue of news and press releases in Italy and provide Italian media operators with pictures and useful information about the Chamber
- Update and monitor the website

NICOLA ROSSI
TRADE OFFICER

Nicola Rossi joined the Chamber’s Team in January 2009. His background includes marketing and advertising experiences. He has a Batchelor of Art in Economics and a Master of Science in Marketing Management – both from Bocconi University in Milan.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing all the enquiries and information requests by both Italian and Australian companies
- Targeting buyers/partners
- Seeking importers/distributors
- Solving export matters (shipments, payments, customs, etc.)
- Providing companies with negotiation and marketing assistance
- Organizing, coordinating and managing inbound and outbound trade missions and trade show delegations

CECILIA PREGLIASCO
ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Cecilia Pregliasco has been with the Italian Chamber of Commerce since July 2009. She has held various accounts positions over the last 10 years in various industries and is studying a Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting major.
Duties and responsibilities:
- manage the daily and monthly accounts functions
- correspond with customers and suppliers
- maintain the Chamber’s accounting records and system
- regularly liaise with the Chief Financial Controller on accounting matters

LUCA DE LEONARDIS
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Luca De Leonardis holds a degree in Economics, a Masters in Strategic Management and International Trade and a Ph.D. in Economics Agribusiness at the University of Bologna. He specialises in international relations, project management and marketing & communication.
He also worked for the University of Bologna, Modena and the Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, where he still holds a position as a Adjunct Senior Lecturer. Additionally, he has ten-year working experience having worked in several countries including, Canada, United States, Australia and New Zealand in international trade field and commercial access in the market.
At the ICCI he is in charge of implementing projects with organisations and companies in Italy and in the Pacific, supporting the CEO in the strategic plans, undertake research and development activities.

SARAH BOOT
MANAGING EDITOR of VOI TUTTI / CORPORATE

Sarah Boot joined the Italian Chamber of Commerce at the beginning of 2010. With a degree in English Literature and a background in corporate communication, Sarah has worked on publications for large corporations both overseas and here in Australia.
Sarah has also been a scriptwriter for the Nine Network in Sydney, working on the pilot and subsequent series of their award-winning children’s programme ‘Hi-5’.
The time she spent living and working in the USA, France, England and China has given Sarah a love of travel and languages and she is now thoroughly enjoying being a member of the Italian Chamber team.
Duties and responsabilities:
- Managing Editor for the Chamber’s quarterly publication Voi Tutti
- Author of the Chamber’s English Language E-Letter as well as all other internal publications
- Italian Chamber’s point of contact for the Australian media
- Provides assistance to the Chief Executive Officer as required

KIRSTEN WILLEY
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
of VOI TUTTI

Kirsten Willey BD(graphic design)hons is an art director who has formulated magazines around the world. Her work on the UK magazine BARE with interior designer and author, Ilse Crawford is the most telling of her style. Willey’s design has been reproduced in numerous design annuals and books internationally and exhibited at the Magnum Photography offices in London.
In 2008, Willey relaunched Voi Tutti for The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia inc. and continues to contribute to the magazine as Creative Director.
