Nick was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Australian Water in February 2007. Australian Water is a company within the Rouse Hill Infrastructure Consortium Group. Nick is a director of RHIC, a company which has been responsible for the delivery to Sydney Water of water based infrastructure in the Rouse Hill Development Area over the last 17 years. Prior to this, Nick was the Managing Partner at one of the Sydney’s leading law firms and has practiced extensively in the area of commercial litigation. Nick has developed an expertise in the area of corporate governance, and has been retained by Boards to act as an external General Counsel on complex commercial projects. In both business and the law, Nick enjoys a reputation for providing practical and innovative solutions to problems.

They act for numerous overseas companies and clients, and also have representative offices in both Rome and Milan.

Nicholas Carè is CEO and Secretary General of Italian Chamber Of Commerce and Industry in Sydney. Carè has extensive experience in Australian international trade and finance for more than 25 years. Carè is also publisher, founder and editor-in-chief of Voi Tutti magazine, Australia’s leading Italian lifestyle magazine, published quarterly. He has been Director of Assocamerestero (worldwide association of the Italian Chambers of Commerce) and World Representative of the Secretary Generals since 2005; he has been Chairman of NuSep (a publicly-listed US and Australian-based biotech company), Member of SBS Community Advisory Committee, Board member of Italian Opera Foundation. He was conferred the title of Cavaliere (Knighthood) in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2006.

Since having sold Cantarella Bros Pty Ltd (Food, Importing and Wholesaling), he has managed various enterprises in Hospitality, Property Development, Finance, Investment and the Motor Industry.
Muzio has served three full terms as Councillor on the Board of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the last finishing as Vice President in 2004.
Muzio is also the President of the Italian Golf Association.

John Caputo established Brookvale Travel and Caputo Real Estate in the 1960’s, and is Managing Director of this family company. He has had extensive experience in local government, and was first elected for Warringah Council in 1987. He was Shire President from 1989-2001, and was elected Mayor in 1998.
His professional qualifications include courses at the University of NSW in Planning Law and Practice, Certificate Course in Real Estate at Sydney Technical College, Advance Valuation Diploma, Registered Valuer NSW and Licensed Travel Agent. He is actively involved in the community and in recognition for this and his work for local government, he was awarded an Order of Australia in January 2000, and was also accorded a Knighthood by the Government of Italy.

Elena Potenza is Abigroup’s Central Region Business Development Manager, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and projects in the building and engineering sectors across NSW/ACT. She has an impressive network of contacts in the industry and business. Elena’s first role was as a site engineer on a major commercial construction project with Civil & Civic (Lend Lease). From there she progressed through to business development roles in both Baulderstone and Leighton Contractors. Elena has held roles such as Director of Sales and Leasing, National Property and Acquisition Manager and Property Development including the Walsh Bay redevelopment for NSW Government. Recent roles include General Manager of Operations for a Macquarie Trust, including portfolio management.
