  • Joseph CARROZZI
    Chairman

    Joseph was appointed to the ICCI Board in 2010. Joseph is a senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the number one Professional Services firm in Australia. With over 18 years experience in the “Big 4” environment, Joseph is focused on a range of disciplines and client segments. During his time in both the public and private sectors, Joseph’s experience has included privatisations, infrastructure projects and asset financing in the water, rail, power, irrigation and services utilities.

    Joseph holds a number of important community leadership positions in addition to his contribution the Italian Chamber of Commerce. These include:

    • Board member, GWS Giants, the newest AFL team operating from Western Sydney, where is also is Chair of the Audit of Finance Committee;
    • Chairman, Centenary Institute for Medical Research Foundation, a leading medical research institute associated with the University of Sydney and RPA Hospital. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Centenary Institute;
    • Board Member, the AFC Asian Cup 2015, being the Organising Committee for the Asian Cup football finals to be held in Australia in 2015.
  • Giancarlo MASCITELLI
    Deputy Chairman

    Giancarlo Mascitelli is a Director of Mazars Pty Ltd Chartered Accountants and specialising in advising small to medium enterprise in their accounting and taxation requirements. Jim has been in this field since 1983 and is highly regared due to his all round taxation and accounting expertise and common sense approach to problem solving. Jim provides advice to a wide range of clients, encompassing award winning restaurateurs, prominent construction and property developers, importers, exporters and variety of entrepreneurial investors. Jim is an Associates of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and Registered Tax Agent. Jim is a past board member of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also held the role of Treasurer between 2004 and 2007.

  • Sam PANUCCI

    Personal Finance Services Pty Ltd

    Sam Panucci is currently Director of Personal Finance Services a company he established in 1985. He has over 28 years in the finance industry. With his vast knowledge and experience he has assisted many small to medium businesses and individuals with procuring loans. Sam has previously served as a Board Member of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2001 to 2005. Sam has an interest in golf and is currently a Board member of the Italian Golf Association-Sydney.

  • Frank CALABRIA
    Origin Energy

    Frank Calabria is Chief Executive Officer, Energy Markets at Origin Energy. Origin is an ASX20 company with a market capitalisation of around $16 billion. Frank is responsible for the leading integrated energy markets business in Australia, with revenue of $10 billion,4.3 million electricity, natural gas and LPG customers, Australia’s largest power generation portfolio and electricity and gas trading business.

    Frank has been in this role since 2009 and prior to that was the Chief Financial Officer of Origin from 2001 to 2009.

    Frank is a board member of the Energy Supply Association of Australia (ESAA), and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
    Prior to joining Origin, Frank held roles with Pioneer International Limited, Hanson plc and Hutchison Telecommunications. Frank has a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and a Masters of Business Administration (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

  • Giancarlo ESPOSITO
    Prysmian Australia Pty Ltd

    Giancarlo has a Degree in Bachelor of Economics, a PhD in Economics and a Master in HR Business Administration, studied in Rome Italy, between 1992 and 2001.

    He started his career with an Italian cars manufacturer, Fiat Group. Giancarlo held various positions mainly in Operations and HR and then moved to Alitalia first and Telecom Italia Mobile later. After a return to Fiat auto as Industrial Relations Manager, moved again to big white goods Multinational Company, Indesit Group, where he covered HR manager positions in 3 different plants in Italy and Poland.

    A short adventure in Vodafone nv as HR Customer Operation Manager.

    In 2006 Giancarlo commenced employment with Prysmian Group, as HR Director to Prysmian PowerLink, then 2 Years as HR Director to Prysmian India and recently moved to Australia as HR Director of the Prysmian Group’s ANZ business.

  • Fabio GRASSIA
    Viano Corporation Pty Ltd

    Fabio Grassia founded his first company in 1989, Natcomp Technology Australia Pty Ltd, an importer and distributor of IT hardware and Consumer Electronic products supplying major mass retailers and computer stores throughout Australia and New Zealand. In 2007 following a market demand for good quality yet affordable digital tvs for the modern household Grassia created the consumer brand Viano. Grassia expanded investments in China by opening an office in Shenzhen and with a joint venture in manufacturing flat panel digital televisions. The factory is now manufacturing televisions for the Australian and New Zealand markets under the Viano brand and OEM. In 2014, the company commenced with new markets in the Middle East, Europe and South America.

    Grassia previously served on the ICCI board in 1998, from 1999-2000 he was a board member and part of the Social Committee. From 2001-2003 he served as vice president on the board, whilst also a member of the Constitutional Committee.

  • Daniele MAGGIOLINI

    Daniele Maggiolini is the Group Head of Parts for the CNH Industrial group in ANZ. He has spent over 9 years with the group in different Sales, Marketing and strategic roles with a global scope. He is a graduate of the Executive Scholar Program of the Kellogg School of Management and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. Passionate about the global workplace, has operational experience in over 40 countries. He has been appointed in 2015 as Secretary and Treasurer for the Sydney Global Shaper a chapter of the World Economic Forum. He has a strong focus on community development and  continuous learning through the engagement with industry bodies and NGOs to anticipate future trends and deliver growth.

  • Domenic PANACCIO

    Domenic Panaccio is the Managing Director in 2010. Mr Panaccio joined Westfield Group in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer for Westfield America Trust and in July 2004 he was appointed Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer for Westfield Group.

    Prior to joining Westfield Group he spent 21 years with Foster’s Group where he held senior positions in the finance and capital markets areas including Chief Financial Officer for Foster’s Wine Division, Beringer Blass Wine Estates, Vice- President Capital Markets and Group Treasurer. Mr Panaccio is a CPA, a Fellow of the Finance and Treasury Association, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a director of both the Shopping Centre Council of Australia and the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association.

  • Elena POTENZA

    Elena is an experienced Senior Executive with professional qual ifications in Bui lding and Master of Commerce. Elena has over 27 years’ experience in the construction, property and infrastructure industry.

    In her most recent role with Lend Lease Engineering, Elena was Executive General Manager, Strategy & Major Projects, responsible for origination, strategy and relationship management of al l aspects of a multi-bil l iondollar portfolio in Major Infrastructure Projects in Austral ia, including PPPs and International Joint Ventures.

    Elena commenced her career as a Site Engineer and then progressed through to Execut ive roles in both Baulderstone and Leighton Contractors. Elena has also held various Executive roles in property including General Manager, Operations for a Macquarie Trust, which entai led portfolio and asset management, with profit & loss responsibi l ity. Experience spans both Private and Publ ic sectors. Elena was awarded the CBRE Business Woman of the Year Award-NAWIC.
